Muchea


MUCHEA VOLUNTEER BUSH FIRE BRIGADE
First recorded minutes of the Muchea Brigade took place at the Muchea Hall in Archibald Street on the 24 September 1952, although there are other bits of information available that indicate bush fire fighting activities had taken place prior to this date.

Apologies for any misspelt names, as it was sometimes difficult to decipher the writing. A big thank you to Marion Martin for her assistance with names and events. (P. Hall)

Tom Battersby, Bevan Peters, Jim Willis,
George Anderson, Gordon Martin
Alec McGlew, Arthur Fewster
Ken Noll, Wally Edwards

1st Secretary       Ken Noll
 
Moved : George Anderson  and  Seconded:  Frank Revill
 
That Arthur Fewster and Jim Willis have the authority of Fire Control Officers.
